Dear Friend,
I used to believe I needed to find all the answers to gain freedom.
After all, knowing the whole truth sets you free.
But all those answers are not The Answer.
They form the path of knowing, laid out like stepping stones that bring us to the Truth.
Every solid truth is a step closer to freedom.
Take the first step.
1. Known
Before you ever came to exist, you are known.
Down to the details.
- Every hair is numbered.
- Every tear is counted by its cause and quantity.
- Every thought is known before it even forms.
He knows why you thought that and the pain, joy, or unbelief it caused.
He knows it all.
He cares about your side of the story.
This record is indestructible.
That means you are important.
Trust God’s heart.
He brought you this far.
He will not fail you now
2. Preserved
Your life is steadily sustained.
Your heart continues to beat.
Your every breath of air is governed by several universal and earthly control systems.
When you drink fluids, your body is refreshed.
When you eat, your body gains energy.
If your body is provided for, your spirit is too.
Taste and see.
God is good.
3. Supplied
Nature obeys Him to serve your every need.
Rain falls.
Seeds germinate.
Plants grow.
Trees bear fruit.
Herbs heal.
And rivers flow through it.
The sun runs its daily course.
Night falls.
A new day begins while you sleep.
He watches over you more than the lilies, more than the sparrows.
Rest in that knowledge.
4. Designed
You were thoughtfully created.
You experience the world through five incredibly fine-tuned and connected senses.
With them, you can learn, understand, and grow in the world God made.
You can imagine, dream, and believe.
All that so you can know God Himself.
See God and His will for you.
His will is perfect when you can’t be.
He designed you to live in you and do marvelous things through you.
Remember who you are in God’s eyes.
5. Purposed
You have a hope and a future.
You are in this time, this place, and this position on purpose.
The seasons, storms, and songs of your life are preordained.
That means His will accommodated every future scenario.
When a wrong turn is taken, a right one is immediately possible.
Every decision you make will eventually work out for good by His created design.
He makes all things beautiful in His time.
For you.
Give thanks with a grateful heart.
6. Prosperous
His will for your life is an abundance of a different kind.
He plan was to bring you from darkness to light.
From death to life.
Your present thoughts, words, actions, and regrets cannot change His purpose.
Your habits cannot restrict His power to overcome.
His goodness overcomes evil to breaks chains, opens doors, wins battles.
Let Him.
And be courageous.
See God moving in power in you and for you.
He IS before you in time and goes before you with perfect wisdom for what lies ahead.
And that brings us to the greatest truth of all.
7. Loved
You were never your own.
You always belonged.
You didn’t deserve love.
You were created for it.
You were lost temporarily, so you could be found eternally.
He planned it all.
You were blinded.
The time has come to see.
He stepped out of the grave meant for you and for me.
Old Creation gave way to New Creation.
Love didn’t fail because Love is God.
He did it!
Now, nothing in heaven or on earth can ever separate you from God’s love.
Not even you.
It’s over.
8. Finished
Your hope is here.
Stop running.
Fighting.
Getting ahead.
Making sure.
Making right.
Making up.
Just be.
Be still.
Listen.
Heard
Your prayer is answered.
“You are not alone.”
“I will supply all your needs.”
“I will never leave you or forsake you.”
“I will fight for you.”
“I AM yours, and you are Mine.”
Held
This is the last stepping stone.
We are at the place the answers all lead to.
And this is the final truth:
You were never the One holding anything together.
God IS.
Let that sink in.
It’s time for that last step.
So, take a deep breath and make the leap.
Let go.
Surrender.
And you will be caught!
Fall into His everlasting arms.
Put it all into His hands: your past, present, and future.
That’s where your freedom is.
In the hands of the One who holds it all.
It is the most awesome thing to fall into the hands of the Loving God.
Isaiah 41:10 - "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."
Your future is wide open.
Step into His marvelous light.
You are loved.
